By booking into a class you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Booking and cancellations
- As our classes are small, please adhere to the booking and cancellation policy. This ensures that others have an opportunity to attend a class if you need to cancel.
- Group classes must be cancelled 9 hours prior to a scheduled class time. Private classes must be cancelled 24 hours prior to your scheduled class. Late cancellations will result in you still being charged for the class. Not showing up to a class will result in being charged for the class.
- Cancellation must be done in the booking app. SMS, email or social media cancellations will not be accepted. We understand that emergencies arise — please email sharon@powerhouse-pilates.co if you are unable to attend a class due to an emergency and we will consider a refund.
- New clients must return their client intake forms and attend a Pilates Basics class or briefing prior to attending their first class.
- A minimum of two people per group session is required for a class to proceed.
- Payment must be made when booking a class/classes.
- Each client must have their own account and cannot share classes.
- Waitlists have the same cancellation policy. Only add yourself to classes that you are sure that you can attend.
Medical disclosures & health clearances
- If you are pregnant we recommend that you attend private classes; however existing clients may continue to attend group classes early in their pregnancy. This is at the discretion of the instructor and medical clearance may be required.
- We also require a medical certificate for post-natal and post-surgery clients. This is to ensure that it is safe for you to resume attending our group fitness classes.
- Clients must disclose all pre-existing injuries and illnesses prior to class. Instructors can offer modifications for minor conditions; however, a medical certificate is required to attend group classes with a significant injury. Instructors retain the right to refuse entry if they believe participation is unsafe. In these instances, the class will be credited back to your account.
- In the event of a long-term or permanent injury or illness that precludes the use of our services, your future class payments will be credited back into your account.
Privacy
- We are committed to protecting your privacy. We collect personal, contact, billing and health information solely to manage your account, process bookings, and keep you safe in class. Information is shared only with our booking/scheduling platform, payment processor, and instructors on a need-to-know basis, and is retained only as long as necessary to meet our legal and insurance obligations.
- You can review or update your details in the booking app at any time, unsubscribe from marketing emails, or request deletion of your account data subject to legal retention requirements.
